Cette formule ("Est-ce que ça vous dérange si j'enfile quelque chose de plus confortable?") a pour origine Hell's Angels ("Les Anges de l'Enfer"), un film américain de 1930 avec Jean Harlow. La phrase exacte que prononce l'actrice est would you be shocked if I changed into something more comfortable? ("est-ce que ça vous choquerait si j'enfilais quelque chose de plus confortable?") Cette formule évoque les vedettes féminines du cinéma américain des années 30 et 40 et notamment les scènes dans lesquelles celles-ci font des numéros de charme en revêtant des tenues sexy. Aujourd'hui on utilise cette phrase en allusion à l'air séducteur de Jean Harlow, le plus souvent sur le mode humoristique.
